The Society for Free Radical Research has its headquarters at the University of Mauritius. Following the formal adoption of SFRR-Africa as the fifth regional wing of the Society for Free Radical Research International in Kyoto ( in year 2000), SFRR-Africa held its 2nd International Conference at the University of Mauritius. The 3rd Annual Meeting was held in October 2002 in South Africa, the 4th International conference in Zimbabwe in October 2003, the 5th International conference in St Lucia in July 2004 and the 6th International conference in Morrocco in September 2005. We are looking forward to organizing the 7th International conference jointly with the 28th African Health Sciences Congress in Mauritius from 14-17 July 2008. This conference will be organized in collaboration with the University of Mauritius
We are extending a very warm invitation to all medical as well as paramedical professionals, academics, students having interest in this particular exciting field of research to subscribe as a member of SFRR-Africa. Your membership will be self-evident of the endeavour to build a capacity within Africa that will sustain growth in Scientific research output in the region.
